About This Course
The course will provide foundational understanding to IT Professionals experienced in SAP solutions about the best practices to leverage Azure resources including deployment and configuration of virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, as well as Azure AD that includes implementing and managing hybrid identities. The course intends to promote learning through concepts, scenarios, procedures, and hands-on labs. It will focus on exploring the best practices to plan and implement migration and operation of an SAP solution on Azure. The participants will receive guidance on managing subscriptions, creating and scaling virtual machines, implementing storage solutions, configuring virtual networking, backing up and sharing data, connecting Azure and on-premises sites, managing network traffic, implementing Azure Active Directory, securing identities, and monitoring solutions.
This course is designed for Azure Administrators who migrate and manage SAP solutions on Azure. The participants are generally responsible for managing the cloud services that span storage, networking, and compute cloud capabilities. They come with a comprehensive knowledge of each service across the full IT lifecycle. The course will facilitate the process of taking end-user requests for new cloud applications and making recommendations on services. It will help the participants achieve optimal performance and scale, as well as provision, size, monitor and adjust as appropriate. This role is ideal for those involved in communication and coordination using the Azure Portal, PowerShell and the Command Line Interface.
AZ-120: Planning and Administering Microsoft Azure for SAP Workloads Hands-on Lab is available for the specified duration and can only be activated once. Labs once launched cannot be paused in between or retaken.
This course doesn’t have any technical pre-requisite. This course primarily uses the Azure portal to create services and does not require scripting skills.
