DP-300: Administering Relational Databases on Microsoft Azure
Introducing DP-300 Hands-on Lab, an immersive and comprehensive learning experience offered by CloudLabs. This lab is specifically designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills in implementing and managing Azure data solutions. The lab focuses on key data platform management concepts such as backup and restore, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Participants will gain practical skills in implementing backup and restore strategies, monitoring and optimizing database performance using Azure Monitor and Azure SQL Database Advisor, and troubleshooting common data platform issues.
During the lab, participants will have the opportunity to explore various aspects of data platform implementation, including provisioning and managing databases, implementing data security, and optimizing performance. They will gain hands-on experience in tasks such as deploying and configuring Azure SQL Database, implementing security measures such as encryption and auditing, and optimizing database performance.
Prior experience with Microsoft Azure and a solid understanding of database concepts, SQL, and T-SQL scripting are recommended. Familiarity with Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance will be beneficial.
Upon completion of the DP-300 Hands-on Lab, learners will have the expertise to administer and manage relational databases on Microsoft Azure. They will possess the knowledge to configure and maintain Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance, implement security measures, monitor database performance, and troubleshoot common issues.
