Spektra Systems has Earned the Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop Advanced Specialization
REDMOND, WA — January 25, 2021
Spektra Systems is pleased to announce that it has earned the Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop Advanced Specialization. This Microsoft Partner Network designation is reserved for partners that have demonstrated deep expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) environments on Microsoft Azure — including identity, networking, security, scale, and end-user experience.
What this specialization means
The WVD Advanced Specialization is awarded only after a rigorous third-party audit of partner capabilities. To earn it, partners must demonstrate:
- Validated customer deployments — production WVD environments running at scale, with reference customers willing to confirm the work.
- Skilled, certified personnel — Microsoft-certified engineers with proven WVD competence on the team.
- Operational maturity — repeatable deployment patterns, security baselines, and supportability across the WVD estate.
For Spektra Systems customers — particularly enterprises and educational institutions deploying virtual desktops at scale — this specialization is independent confirmation that the team has the depth to support production WVD workloads.
Behind the work
The specialization reflects years of Spektra Systems’ work on virtual desktop deployments through CloudLabs Virtual Computer Services and direct enterprise consulting. From classroom virtual computers to enterprise VDI rollouts, the team has built and operated Windows Virtual Desktop environments across geographies and industries.
