Spektra Systems is pleased to announce the successful completion of SOC 2 Type II certification and GDPR readiness assessment, formally validating the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy controls that protect CloudLabs customer data.

What SOC 2 Type II validates

A SOC 2 Type II report independently audits an organization’s controls over an extended observation period — confirming not only that the right controls exist, but that they operate effectively day after day. For CloudLabs customers, this means:

  • Security — robust access controls, encryption at rest and in transit, continuous monitoring.
  • Availability — operational reliability and disaster recovery aligned to enterprise SLA expectations.
  • Confidentiality — segmentation and protection of customer-specific lab data and learner records.
  • Privacy — alignment with the AICPA Trust Services Criteria for personal information.

GDPR readiness for European customers

Alongside SOC 2 Type II, Spektra Systems has completed a GDPR readiness assessment, ensuring CloudLabs is operating in alignment with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation. European customers and partners can engage with CloudLabs knowing the platform’s data-handling practices have been independently reviewed.
