About This Course
The DP-203 course will provide foundational knowledge of data engineering about working with batch and real-time analytical solutions using Azure data platform technologies. It will follow a phased learning approach starting with an understanding of the core compute and storage technologies used to build an analytical solution. Furthermore, the course content will help the participants in interactively exploring data stored in files in a data lake. It is an ideal resource to learn about various ingestion techniques to load data using the Apache Spark capability found in Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Databricks, best practices for ingesting using Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse pipelines. The students will be exposed to knowledge of diverse ways to transform the data using the same technologies that are used to ingest data. It will help the students understand the importance of implementing security to ensure data security at rest or in transit. Finally, the course will equip the students to create real-time analytical systems solutions.
The course is primarily intended for data professionals, data architects, and business intelligence professionals. It is ideal for professionals who wish to gain knowledge of data engineering and learn about building analytical solutions using data platform technologies on Microsoft Azure. The course will also benefit data analysts and data scientists working with analytical solutions built on Microsoft Azure.
DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure Hands-on Lab is available for the specified duration and can only be activated once. Labs once launched cannot be paused in between or retaken.
This course doesn’t have any technical pre-requisite. This course primarily uses the Azure portal to create services and does not require scripting skills.
