Registration Confirmation

After registering, you will receive confirmation emails from microsoftevents@cloudevents.ai

Important: If you don’t see the email in your inbox, check your Spam or Junk folders.
Step 1: Click the “Attend Event” button in the email to access your event.

Step 2: This link is unique to you and required to access both the event session and your lab environment. Do not share this link with others.

During the Event

Joining the Session

For Virtual Events: Click “Join Now” on your personal event page to enter Microsoft Teams meeting.

This option becomes available 15 minutes before the scheduled event start time. If you don’t see it, try refreshing the page.
For In-Person Events: You will not have a “Join Now” button. You will only have a “Launch Lab” option.

Accessing the Hands-on Lab

1. Launching Your Lab Environment

  • Click “Lab Launch” on your event page to begin
  • This option becomes available 15 minutes before the event
  • If it doesn’t appear, try refreshing the page

2. Pop-up Blocker Setup

  • The lab will open in a new browser tab
  • If it doesn’t launch, ensure your pop-up blocker is disabled
  • Click “Allow” when prompted for browser access

3. Lab Setup & Access Information

The lab typically provisions within one minute.
Navigate to the “Environment” tab on the right side for your login credentials and step-by-step instructions.

Lab Support During Event

For In-Person Events:
A dedicated backchannel is maintained between event instructors and Spektra Technical SME for real-time support.
For Virtual Events:
A Spektra Technical SME will be available on the Teams meeting throughout the event for live assistance.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues & Solutions

1. Didn’t Receive Registration Email?

  1. Search for emails from microsoftevents@cloudevents.ai in your Spam/Junk folders
  2. Move the email to your inbox and retry accessing your event page
2. “Join Now” or “Lab Launch” Buttons Missing?These buttons become available 15 minutes before the session starts.

Note: “Join Now” will not appear for in-person events.
3. Lab or Virtual Machine Not Loading?

  1. Disconnect from any VPNs
  2. Try switching to an alternative network
  3. Refresh the lab page
  4. Refer to Cloud Labs RDP: Known Issues for additional troubleshooting
